Mead Making Workshop

Over 21 Members Join Us for 3 sessions with RJ from Bragging Rooster in Warrenton as he teaches us how to make our own Mead!

Dates:

Sunday, August 30th 3-5 PM @ Bragging Rooster : 

Mead 101,Sanitation, Getting Started

Sunday, October 4th 3-5 PM @ Bragging Rooster:

Lab, Racking & More in depth Information

Thursday, November 5th 6 PM @ Granville County Expo :

Bottling! You will leave with 6-7 bottles of your Mead.

If you are unable to make it to one of the meetings, you can work with another beekeeper to get you started or do the needed tasks on October 4th.

Mead will be kept at the brewery and RJ will bring it to the November Member meeting to bottle.

**This event is limited to 20 paid registrants and over 21 Current Paid  GCBA Members ONLY. GCBA Liability Form Must be completed in advance of Workshop** 

Cost:

$40 - Bring your own Quart of Honey & Fermentation Bucket

$60 - Bring your own Quart of Honey & Bragging Rooster Provides Fermentation Bucket

$80 - Bragging Rooster Provides Honey & Fermentation Bucket

Cost includes all other necessary supplies including bottles/corks.
